[Job description]

・Take full responsibility of their cloud infrastructure and live systems

・Analyze their current systems and cloud infrastructure, identify bottlenecks and possible fault points, propose the ways to improve the system

・Plan, build, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure so that it is scalable, highly available, secure and fault tolerant

・Manage and monitor all installed systems, applications and infrastructure

・Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes

・Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, web servers, database servers, management tools, and other software

・Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability and security

・Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies

・Make sure that regular backups of systems, files, databases are done, validate and test backups and system recovery

・Automate tasks for systems monitoring, alerting, deployment

・Write custom scripts and build tools to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks

・Select and deploy appropriate CI/CD tools and build continuous integration and deployment pipelines

・Take part and work with developers on the building of systems, web apps, mobile apps, tools and other software

[Requirements]

・No Japanese ability required

・Business or Native English ability required

・Minimum 3 or more years of experience in planning, building, deploying and maintenance of distributed, scalable, fault-tolerant, high availability cloud systems

[Preferred requirements］

・In relation to the above, experience with setup, configuring, scaling and maintenance of production systems based on the following:

Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, linux, galera cluster, mariadb, proxysql, glusterfs, apache, nginx, nodejs, redis, memcache , docker, etc.

・Experience in devops and familiarity with code building and deployment tools and processes for CI/CD

・Familiarity with monitoring and alerting systems and tools, such as monit, munin, nagios, etc.

・Experience with automation software

・Knowledge of php, mysql, javascript, shell scripting

・Experience in full stack development in real-time communication high availability distributed systems

・Experience in development of video conferencing platforms based on webrtc and sfu/mcu webrtc media servers

[Conditions]

Employment Type: Permanent

Trial period: 3-6 months (Salary during trial period is the same as regular engineer)

Estimated annual income: 

①Junior-level engineer ¥4-5M 

②Middle-level engineer ¥5-6M 

③Senior-level engineer ¥6-8M

Work location: Kobe City, Hyogo

Working hours: 10:00～19:00

Holidays: 2 days a week (According to the company calendar）

Overtime: Average 20h / month
